The Question Buzzirk Mobile is Asking

What do you need from a cell phone? That’s the question Buzzirk Mobile is asking consumers with their new product.

The answer that they are looking for is either: (a) Unlimited voice, text, data transfer and Internet, (b) access to next generation, high speed wireless technology, or (c) one $80 prepaid monthly price for everything they need from wireless communications. That’s what Buzzirk Mobile has promised with their recent product launch earlier this month.

If they can deliver on this promise we are talking about the cell phone of the future, and without the pricing structure of a long term contract for the customer to sign, the Buzzirk Mobile/Zero1 team is going to have to make good on their word.

They are relying on multilevel marketing (or MLM in industry jargon) to distribute the product – which all but guarantees a subtle, but growing market presence. The extent of growth is not guaranteed, but if the product does what it claims to do it will build momentum and take a bite out of the expanding personal wireless device market. The slow build marketing strategy may appear to betray a lack of foresight, but in this market it couldn’t be more appropriate for two reasons.

First, they have a new product line and network to smother with quality assurance. It doesn’t take a lot of bad press to sink a technology product. You can name two different parts of an aircraft as the primary flaw in a cell phone and 98% of the market won’t know enough to tell this difference, which leads us to the second reason for Buzzirk Mobile’s marketing strategy.

Buzzirk Mobile is asking what do people need from their cell phones and their new product brings consumers an excellent plan at a low cost.
